We are now looking for a dynamic and committed Accountant to lead our financial strategy and compliance operations.
The Role: Accountant
This senior-level position is integral to ensuring financial accountability, compliance, and strategic support across all programs and donor engagements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead financial operations including budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to statutory and donor-specific regulations (FCRA, CSR, etc.).
• Manage financial reporting to management, donors and partners on time with accuracy.
• Collaborate with leadership and programme teams for strategic financial planning.
• Variance Reporting, template Development-as and when required.
• Strengthen internal controls and contribute to organisational transparency.
We are looking for
Experience & Skills
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in NGO/development finance.
• Hands-on experience in managing FCRA and CSR funds.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime and MS Excel; skilled in donor financial reporting.
• Strong integrity, analytical skills, and cross-functional collaboration ability.
• Adaptation to Emerging Trends
• Rigorous and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and work effectively in adverse and fast paced work environment.
• Ability to coach both finance and non-finance people on financial issues including budgeting & internal controls.
Educational Qualification
• Postgraduate Degree in Commerce (M.Com) or equivalent qualification.
