I. Introduction
Collectives for Integrated Livelihood Initiatives (CInI)?is a resource organization committed to improving the overall quality of life in rural and tribal regions across the Central India belt, spanning the states of Odisha, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Gujarat. Established in 2007 as an associate organization of Tata Trusts, CInI has pioneered several scalable and impactful programs across key thematic areas—Livelihoods, Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WaSH), Education, Sports, Primary Healthcare & Nutrition. Our initiatives are aligned with the?Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030?and have been recognised on national and international platforms.

CInI anchors its work in community institutions, women’s collectives, and frontline workers. In partnership with CSOs and State Governments, we leverage technology, and robust processes to deliver sustainable, scalable impact—powered by 300+ development professionals across implementation geographies

II. Job Purpose:
To lead and strengthen the implementation of the Physical Literacy program across project schools by building the capacity of teachers and field teams, providing academic and technical support, ensuring quality implementation and assessment of physical literacy initiatives, fostering collaboration with education department stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in student learning outcomes through effective monitoring, mentoring, documentation, and system strengthening.

III. Key Accountabilities:
a) Ensuring learning outcome improvement of targeted students in all the 100 schools under the project, through working closely with the Teachers, Academic Resource Persons and other stakeholders to achieve physical literacy outcomes.
b) Work closely with primary school teachers for their continuous professional development in Physical Literacy aspects and facilitate their academic Leadership.
c) Capacity building of team and regular field visits to provide monitoring and mentoring support to the field team, teachers and other stakeholders towards implementation of the project activities.
d) Continuous documentation of the project processes on the assigned domain-especially assessments and identify successful model of the physical literacy learning processes and outcomes.
e) Collaborate on the training and capacity building programs in convergence with the Block and District education department ensuring that, the training outcomes are achieved as planned.
f) Coordinate and support in implementing tanning modules, assessment tools, training follow ups etc. Support in preparing training calendar and training implementation plan/modules in convergence with the Department and other theme leads.
g) Update on job knowledge by participating in educational and sports related opportunities, reading for professional development and sharing.
h) Conduct periodic review meeting of the field team with specific emphasis on Physical literacy promotion activities towards overall system strengthening at school, block and district level.
i) Plan and conduct necessary sharing and dissemination activities with the District/Block academic leadership and other stakeholders for promotion of physical literacy activities.
j) Any other work as assigned by the Theme lead from time to time.

IV. Eligibility and requirements
Education: Graduation or Master’s Degree in Physical Education/ Education/ Social Sciences or relevant academic streams.

Experience:
a) At least 3 to 4 years of experience in conducting physical activity/sports sessions with children in schools
b) At least 1-2 years of experience working in/with teams
c) Experience of working in system strengthening activity in collaboration with government will be an added advantage.

Skills, Competencies and Experience:
a) Played some sports at minimum district level and some pedagogy training/ workshop in engaging children in active setting in schools. Degree/Diploma in Physical Education/ could be an advantage.
b) Thematic and pedagogical leadership in the relevant field in the areas of teachers training, curriculum development, training module development, instructional material designing etc.
c) Program implementation related engagements on thematic aspects with NGOs, Government department, Resource agencies, Academic institutions on physical literacy theme.
