Project Overview:
The NLR India Foundation is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Finance Assistant Consultant to support the finance function of the organization. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting, experience in financial record-keeping, and the ability to work effectively in a non-profit environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Digitalization of all Financial Records.
• Arranging financial files & records.
• Maintain & books of accounts and accounting records.
• Process payments, receipts, and journal entries.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Coordinate with banks, vendors, and internal teams on financial matters.
• Ensure proper filing and record management of financial documents.
• Assist expenditure tracking.
• Support internal and external audit processes.
Eligibility Criteria:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce (B.Com)
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, preferably in the development/non-profit sector.
• Working knowledge of Tally /Prime and MS Office (especially Excel)..
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
Desired Competencies:
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
Nature of Employment:
Contractual (initially for 6 months; extendable based on performance and project continuation)
