Position Assistant Manager – Communications (Full time - In Office)
Location Based in Bengaluru
Role Overview
Is responsible for day-to-day execution of communications across Dhwani Foundation’s programs, and facilitating delivery of marketing collaterals of Partner NGOs. The role focuses on coordination, vendor management, quality control, and timely delivery of communication outputs.
The role works closely with program teams, and external vendors to translate requirements into clear, welldesigned materials. A significant part of the role involves handholding program teams and service providers through the development of partner collaterals, while also supporting Dhwani’s internal communication and digital needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner Communications Coordination: Coordinate the development of marketing collaterals for partner NGOs, working with program ateams and external service providers to ensure timely, accurate, and high-quality outputs. Content & Writing: Develop, edit, and refine communication content across a range of formats, including reports, brochures, presentations, learning materials, website content, social media posts, and marketing collateral.
- Design & Production Coordination: Coordinate with designers, printers, video editors, and other service providers. Prepare briefs, provide feedback, review outputs, and support the production of communication materials across print and digital formats.
- Digital Communications: Create and coordinate content and creatives for Dhwani Foundation's digital platforms, including LinkedIn and other social media channels.
- Events & Campaigns: Support communication requirements for organisational events, workshops, launches, campaigns, and partner engagements.
- Program Communications Support: Support communication needs across Dhwani's programs, including presentations, reports, learning resources, event materials, and other internal communication requirements.
Position Assistant Manager – Communications (Full Time)
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in communications, content, marketing communications, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience in communications execution, and project design/management.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple deliverables
- Strong writing, editing, and content development skills, with the ability to communicate clearly for different audiences and formats.
- Experience developing reports, presentations, marketing collateral, social media content, and other communication materials.
- Working familiarity with graphic design, typography, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Experience coordinating with designers, printers, video editors, and other creative service providers.
Desirable
- Spoken Kannada and/or Tamil
- Experience with informal-short video project coordination and basic video editing
- Exposure to the social sector either as previous employment or as a volunteer
Softwares - minimum 1 year working experience in each
- Adobe Illustrator and/or Corel Draw
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Premier Pro / Davinci
- Canva
- Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
