About the Organization
Bhoomika Vihar is a Bihar-based development organization established in 1996, working to create a society free from violence, discrimination, and exploitation. The organization has empowered over 500,000 women, adolescent girls, and children through programs on education, gender equality, child protection, health, livelihoods, and community development.

About the Project
The project seeks to support educational development and life skills among adolescent girls and young women from marginalized communities. Academic Teachers will provide quality educational support and promote learning opportunities at the community center.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct academic support classes for adolescent girls and young learners.
• Assist learners in improving foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
• Prepare lesson plans and learning materials.
• Monitor students' progress and maintain attendance records.
• Organize educational activities, quizzes, competitions, and learning events.
• Support life skills and leadership development sessions.
• Engage with parents and community members to encourage regular participation.

Required Qualifications and Skills
• Intermediate, Graduate, or equivalent qualification.
• Preference will be given to candidates with teaching experience.
• Good command over Hindi and basic English.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Passion for working with adolescent girls and rural communities.
• Local candidates from Araria district will be preferred.

Salary
As per organizational norms and project budget.
