About the Project
The project promotes livelihood opportunities for adolescent girls and women through vocational skill development and entrepreneurship. The Tailor Master will provide practical tailoring and garment-making training to project participants.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct tailoring and stitching classes for girls and women.
• Teach measurement, cutting, stitching, finishing, and basic garment design.
• Demonstrate operation and maintenance of sewing machines.
• Monitor trainees' progress and practical assignments.
• Support trainees in developing employable tailoring skills.
• Maintain training records and attendance registers.
• Assist in organizing exhibitions and showcasing products developed by trainees.
Required Qualifications and Skills
• Experience in tailoring, garment making, or vocational training.
• Ability to train beginners and women from rural communities.
• Good practical knowledge of cutting, stitching, and machine handling.
• Prior teaching or training experience will be an advantage.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Local candidates from Araria district will be preferred.
Salary
Rs. 4,000 per month
