Position Summary:
Vijayavahini Charitable Foundation will be implementing livelihood Project in the Asifabad District of Telangana State. The project proposes to work on the interventions recommended under the principles of Climate Resilient Agriculture such as - building Resilience in Soil, Rainwater harvesting and recycling, Irrigation and water saving technologies, adaptation of Tolerant Crop Varieties and Cropping Systems, Farm machinery (custom hiring) centres, Crop contingency plans, Livestock and Fishery interventions, Weather based Agro Advisories, Institutional interventions, Village Climate Risk Management Committee (VCRMC).
The Program Associate will support the planning, implementation, monitoring, and documentation of project activities under the CRALAT project in the assigned area. The role will work closely with farmers, community institutions, government departments, and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of project interventions. The position will support field-level coordination, data collection, reporting, capacity-building activities, and achievement of project targets and outcomes

Brief Job Description & Job Specifications:
Sr. No. Brief Job Description:
1. Organize meetings for Project Participants and groups through Community Resource Persons.
2. Identify locations and farmers for introducing best practices/demonstrations.
3. Coordinate with FPG members in identifying needs of farmers at village level.
4. Facilitate the implementation of project activities.
5. Identify the training needs of the community members and producer groups.
6. Execution of seasonal training programs and field demonstrations
7. Build rapport with village level officials and community representatives.
8. Participate in FPG meetings to enable good practices in production.
9. Coordinate the aggregation of farm and non-farm produce for marketing through FPOs
10. Track the plant management practices and yield obtained for the specified crops.
11. Verify the data collected by community resource persons and report.
12. Travel to field locations and monitor the project demonstrations
13. Follow up on quality parameters related to the Pre and Post-Harvest practices.
14. Gather data related to case studies and best practices in the project location.
15. Submission of plans and reports periodically.
16. Facilitate multi-thematic interventions as per the need of the location.
Job Specifications:
Knowledge & Skills:
• Good oral and written communication and presentation skills in Telugu.
• Computer proficiency with specific familiarity with commonly used Windows and MS Office.
• Problem-solving skills and curiosity to learn new things
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment with strong
• facilitation skills, and the ability to analyze reports, and plan and monitor projects.

• Having experience in Agri extension/Non-Farm activities will be preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience with a reputed organization.

Diploma/Graduation in Agri/Horti/Social work/any other discipline.
Salary Benchmark
- Rs. 36,300/- per month
