We are now looking for applications for the position of Project Coordinator – Education Project
This is a meaningful opportunity for individuals passionate about working with the children to improve living condition of marginalised children, youth, their family and communities.
The Role: Project Coordinator
As a Project Coordinator at Palli Unnayan Samiti, you will lead the on-ground implementation of the project and initiatives, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure effective execution aligned with organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work under the overall guidance of the Director to ensure smooth implementation of the project, with a clear understanding of the detailed plan and expected results.
• Oversee daily operations of the Study Centres and provide support to children and their families.
• Supervise project activities such as Centre visits, home visits, family counselling, and community meetings.
• Build rapport with Panchayats, Schools, and NGOs to facilitate access for the children.
• Ensure effective supervision and provide hands-on support to children to implement planned activities deliverables with high quality.
• Organize teachers meetings, community meetings, focused group discussions, and trainings to enhance project impact and team knowledge.
• Attend capacity-building workshops whenever necessary to improve project implementation and personal professional development.
• Ensure timely submission of narrative reports, case studies, success stories, and quarterly/annual reports and updates to the Director.
• Maintain internal trackers, records, and administrative documentation, dashboards, and MIS.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for fund utilization and compliance.
• Maintain punctuality, sincerity, and dedication to project goals and adhere to organisational values.
Required Experience & Skills:
• Prior experience in working with children, youth and families in community-based growth projects preferred.
• Team leadership, coordination, grassroots experience, effective communication, community engagement, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local authorities, schools, healthcare providers, and NGOs.
• Basic knowledge of documentation and reporting.
• Adaptation to Emerging Trends
• Rigorous and detail-oriented with an ability to multi-task and work effectively in adverse and fast paced work environment.
Educational Qualification:
• Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Psychology, Special Education, or related fields.
