Vigyan Ashram Technology Foundation (www.vigyanashram.in) a leading social institute work in the field of development of innovative technologies, skills training and implementation of vocational education in the schools. VATF is looking for enthusiastic & committed colleagues for its Science Technology Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) and Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) project in Uttar-Pradesh State.

Position STEM Educator & Program manager:

Key role & responsibility:

Prepares and conducts ‘Atal Tinkering Lab – STEM (Science, Technology, engineering, Mathematics) activities for students
Conduct Teachers training on making technology-based projects
Schools visit in Uttar Pradesh
Represents our programs at required locations
Guides and mentors, the students/ATL in-charge in their projects

Desire skills:

Hands on-skills in building educational project using basic electronics components, sensors modules, CAD design, 3 D printing, Arduino boards & output devices (motors, drives etc.)
Aptitude for application of science & mathematical concepts for hands-on learning.
Knowledge of STEM principles & aptitude for handling innovation experiments by schools’ students.
Good communication & presentation skills.
Skills in report writing & documentation.

Candidate must be ready to travel in remote located schools, communicate with schools’ administration & students in the state of Uttar-Pradesh.

Educational qualification: BE or ME in electronics / mechanical / mechatronics OR B.Tech or M.Tech OR Msc (Mathematics, Physics) with minimum 2-year experience in school-based programs.

Salary: 2.5 to 3.5 CTC per annum + TA/ DA allowances
