DEF is a 24 years old ICT for development and implementing agency working across 24 states in India and over 260 districts pan India, including North East India since 2002. It values information as key to the access and empowerment of individuals, groups, and communities.
DEF works on the basis of - Integrated Approach to ICT (IICT) framework/model in key sectoral programmes wherein ICT is integrated, embedded and enabled to address - critical information-communication related needs.

Location: New Delhi
Required Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Business Management/ Economics/Rural Management/MSW/ Development Communications or a closely related field is a must.
Required Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience of working with and managing a team; working with communities, coordinating with stakeholders and strategic planning and execution. Ability to lead a diverse team and multi-tasking.
Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office, AI tools and handling digital tools is a must.
Additional Requirements: Should be able to speak, write and read English, Hindi. Should be open to travel and should have presentation and people management skills.

Job Description:
• Undertake project ideation, visioning, planning and developing project frameworks.
• Undertake responsibility for projects including independent handling of projects.
• Coordinate for projects and events like workshops, seminars, conferences, training programmes
• Undertake responsibility in preparing Project proposals independently
• Responsibility in documentation, publication, and works on ICT for Development.
• Carry out any such project related research and documentation work as and when required.
• experience in handling projects in rural areas in entrepreneurship development and livelihood.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent writing and reporting skills
• Must be very prompt and quick, clear in communication
• Should be always ready to travel
• must have very good ICT skills
• Should understand nuances of project management including handling accounts and finance, and time management of team members
• She will be responsible for contributing to timely delivery of overall objectives as per the demands of the project.
• Networking with other NGOs and Government agencies for partnering.
• She will be reporting to the Programme Deputy Director.
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Programme Manager with a primary focus on project implementation. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and effective communication abilities.
